A word from our recruiter
I am Michael Clarke, the Recruiter for the Memphis School of Preaching. I attended and graduated from MSOP (2015-2017) and have spent much of my life around the Forest Hill congregation. MSOP has always held a special place in my heart. It is a privilege to travel across the country and tell others about the great work happening in Germantown, Tennessee. I would love to help you think through your next steps to being equipped to preach the Gospel.
At MSOP, we care about more than getting someone to fill out an application. We want to help men grow in the Word, serve the church faithfully, and prepare for a lifetime of ministry. We believe that the Bible is still the only sufficient book to prepare one for eternity. During the two-year program, we seek to cover the Bible verse-by-verse and give the sense on the whole counsel of God (Nehemiah 8:8; Acts 20:27). If you are looking for a school that will simply teach you the Bible and the best way to preach it, you can find no better school than MSOP.
You may have questions about preaching, classes, daily life, finances, family, or what ministry could look like after school. That is exactly why I’m here. Whether you are ready to apply or simply trying to learn more, I’d be glad to listen, answer your questions honestly, and help you take the next right step.
